NOAH RUFENACHT

I have gone to a lot of different coaches and camps, and usually I learn the same exact stuff. When I first showed up to the KTC camp, I could already tell it was gonna be good just by the environment around me. I learned so much stuff from the first camp I went to and almost all of what I learned was new to me, which I think just shows the level of expertise of Coach Hugo. I love how he actually cares unlike a lot of coaches I have been to, he takes time out of his day to call or even just send over a “Hope you’re doing well” text, which I think is one of, if not the most important things in a student-coach relationship. He also always has the most confidence in you even when you are at your all time low with the sport, which definitely happens. But he can always brighten my day by his sense of humor. I love high jump, but I think having a great coach, like Coach Hugo makes it 10x better. Since I have started working with him, my Pr has already gone up with the new steps I got. He always has a fighting drive for you to succeed and if you take his coach and mentoring you definitely will succeed. It’s an honor that I get to work with Coach Hugo and I think it will be a fun journey!!!
