Hugo’s Kangaroo Camp was an amazing decision for my high jumping career. I have been going to his Minnesota camps for a few years now and his tutelage has been incredibly helpful in both my technique and mental approach to high jump. He is a first-class coach and is able to pick out detailed aspects of jumping form that can slip past even those with considerable experience. He is also great at finding a way to relay his coaching and advice in a way that is personal and comprehensive to individual athletes. Because I am a multi-sport athlete, he has always found ways to relate elements of high jump to the other sports I play so that I can transfer what I already know to my jump. His wealth of knowledge is a resource I would readily recommend to anyone pursuing high jump. In addition, he truly cares about his athletes and loves to stay updated with how their seasons are going and is always willing to chat when they need advice. Hugo is altogether a genuinely great person and an amazing coach. Thank you for all of your time, wisdom, and advice!
