SEAN AND STACY SEESER

Sean and Stacy Seeser (parents): As an 8th grader, Tyson was the middle school state champion in Iowa. His freshman year, he qualified for state but battled a hamstring injury and didn’t improve much. Tyson went to a camp with Coach Hugo just before his sophomore track season started. He increased his jump by 5 inches from meet one to meet two. Jumping 6’7 , he met the Blue Standard to qualify for Drake Relays. This year (2024) Tyson kept coming to Coach Hugo high jump camps and ended up as a Iowas State Indoor Champion and Drake Relays Champion with a new PR of 6’10”! We will continue to come to Kangaroo Athletics for training in hopes that Tyson can keep improving. We are so thankful for the help that Coach Hugo has given him!

Tyson Seeser (athlete): Coach Hugo has taught me a lot about my form and steps which I struggled with prior to coming to camp. I have gained confidence and the knowledge I need to improve. I’m thankful to Coach for helping me reach one of my goals winning State and Drake Relays.
