SOPHIA VYKUKAL

I came to Coach Munoz 5 years ago in hopes of getting better. While my jump improved from 4’10 to 5’6.5, I also improved as an overall athlete and as a person. It has always been about more than just high jump. Throughout the year, I would go to Hugo and practice. Out of all of the times practicing, I can confidently say we have never had a wasted practice and I always improved. The other day I ended my high jump career at the state track meet with a silver medal! During practices, we would not only talk about high jump, we would also talk about life and my future plans. I am forever grateful for all that Hugo has done for me. From dancing at practice to improving my skills, every practice was always a fun one!
